Scholarship Campaign

One of the most pressing needs in higher education is scholarship funding that will enable students to reach their educational goals and achieve success by meeting their career objectives. Scholarship assistance is especially important to support enrollment in post-secondary education for deserving but traditionally under-served students.
The GEAR UP Individual Donor Education Scholarship (G.U.I.D.E.S.) Program will provide a limited number of scholarships to students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership skills, community service, and financial need.

Establish a Scholarship
Individuals, groups, or organizations can create a one-time non-renewable scholarship by contributing to the G.U.I.D.E.S. Program. All scholarships will be awarded to GEAR UP- St. Louis students graduating in 2011.
 
With a minimum gift of $1,000, donors may individually or collectively name the scholarship in memory of a friend or family member, in honor of an individual or organization, in recognition of an achievement, or in other creative ways. Donors of $1,000 gifts may also designate the GEAR UP- St. Louis high school from which the awardee will be selected.
