Charter school in tough neighborhood gets all its seniors into college

The entire senior class at Chicago's only public all-male, all-African-American high school has been accepted to four-year colleges. At last count, the 107 seniors had earned spots at 72 schools across the nation.

GEAR UP St. Louis wishes to welcome the newest elected officials of the Clyde C. Miller Career Academy PTO cabinet of the 2009-2010 academic school years PTO President, Bernice Jones-King and cohort parent Mr. Chapelle Norise, Vice President.  

As in the past, the GEAR UP St. Louis program is looking forward to working in collaboration with the newest cabinet members providing our students and their families’ continuance support by way of educational resource and opportunities throughout the school year.
